Very, very simple. The below pages are all-in-one -- no ads, no trackers, no external sources period -- simple trackers for ALTTPR and SMZ3. I hope to eventually hook them up to a database to allow saving, but until then, they're here free of charge under the Apache 2 License. I will not do any patches or maintenance for you. If you want your own copy simply download a page and save it locally and make your own changes.
Importantly, these also work across platform. I'm only testing them in Firefox and Chrome. If you're having issues in another browser, see above.
The newest edition is the ability to rollback changes. If you're doing some nasty hellrun in Super Metroid (or even just some simple key scumming in Zelda) you can turn off "autocommit" and the tracker will store items without displaying them until committed. Currently turning off autocommit with items still in the queue will erase the items, not commit them. That may change as i play to the reverse.
The "regular" tracker is no longer necessary; one can simply toggle the keysanity portions of the keysanity tracker and it works just as well.
Only the cookie version of the tracker uses a cookie. If you don't want a cookie, just choose a cookieless version. There is a delete button for the cookie on the page. It will not track you, it simply helps you not lose progress in case you need to refresh your browser or restart your computer. The cookie will expire in 30 days which should be plenty of time to finish any seeds (usually). As it turns out cookies are not meant for large amounts of storage, so the cookie version is deprecated. It will have trouble late in the game when there's lots of stuff.
The local storage version uses volatile browser local storage. It will usually stay between browser reloads (it's not sessions storage) but may be purged if your disk space is low. It's not doing any checks about available storage space, so if your computer is low on disk space it may not work well for you. There's a button to delete the local storage on the page (the "Delete Save" button).
For all storage versions (cookie, local, and soon indexeddb), deleting the saved items will also refresh the page so that the page "zeroes out".
